Quakers Hill police have warned motorists to be vigilant after a spate of vehicle break-ins.

A spokesperson from Quakers Hill said the warning was sparked by thieves targeting tradies’ vehicles in the area.

“In the past four days, four tradesmen's vehicles have been targeted and power tools have been stolen,” a Quakers Hill police spokesperson said on August 2.

“Locks have been manipulated or forced open.”

The vehicles are often parked on the street or in driveways.

“Please be reminded to remove your property, park your vehicle close to your residence, under lighting and CCTV,” the spokesperson said.

“Theses offences have occurred in Kings Langley and in the Stanhope Gardens area.”

Motorists are encouraged to report any suspicious behaviour or thefts to Riverstone police station on 9838 2199 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
