Castle Hill’s community centre will become the home of Wrestling GO this Sunday.
The family friendly pro-wrestling action group will host American professional wrestler and actor Kenneth “Ken” Anderson, better known as Mr Anderson.
The WWE and TNA star will battle it out in the ring with the undefeated Caveman Ugg.
Wrestling GO’s founder John Whelan has been wrestling for seven years and said the event will feature six match ups featuring competitors that have wrestled all over the world including; Canada, US, Japan and England.
“Our top-tier champion gold medalist Ryan Eagles will make an appearance,” he said. “We use medals as opposed to big championship belts for the Olympic style feel.”
We're like a circus. You want a bit of everything but in the end, you still want to see the lion tamer eaten by the lion.
Mr Whelan says wrestling is for everyone.
“There’s comedy, hard-hitting action, female competitors, grappling and high-flying,” he said.
“We don’t cater to one group, we cater to all and we have a strict no swearing policy. Funnily enough, we have more adult members in the crowd than children, and they still come back month after month!
“Wrestling borderlines real life characteristics and scenarios...It’s a movie that comes to life.”
