A man, 22, has been charged with low range prescribed concentration of alcohol in his blood while driving in Kellyville Ridge.
The Quakers Hill man was driving a black BMW along Old Windsor Road at about 2.30am on Sunday, May 14 when he was stopped by police for a random breath test, and returned a positive result.
The man was taken to Castle Hill police station and further breath analysis revealed a reading of 0.069. He is due to appear at Parramatta Local Court on June 7.
Car damaged in Rouse Hill
A silver Toyota Corolla sedan has been vandalised in Rouse Hill. Police said the vehicle was scratched along the bonnet while parked on Barra Way between 8am and 3pm on Saturday, May 13.
The damage is estimated to be worth $500.
Air-conditioning unit stolen
An air-conditioning unit worth $1200 has been stolen from a retail store in McGraths Hill.
Police said a man entered the Old Windsor Road store through the trade entry.
He picked up a Mitsubishi air-conditioning unit and put it on a trolley before putting it into the rear of a ute and left without paying for it.
It is believed the theft took place at the store between 2pm and 2.15pm on Monday, May 7.
Police are investigating the incident.
Ramp targeted in Rouse Hill
More than $1000 worth of damage has been done to a ramp in Rouse Hill.
Police have been told someone had used a texta to graffiti the car park ramp in Market Lane.
It is believed the incident occurred between 7am on Wednesday, May 9 and 3am on Thursday, May 10.
Missing Quakers Hill teen found
Police have located a teenager missing from the Quakers Hill area safe and well.
The girl, 15, was last seen leaving a home on Pagoda Crescent about 9am on Saturday, April 8.
Officers from Quakers Hill were notified and began a search. The girl was located at a home in Bathurst safe and well at about 10am on Monday, April 17.
Police thanked the community for their assistance.
